Four Steps to a Spa Holiday in Bavaria
1. Medical Certification
Ask your treating physician, such as your general practitioner or orthopaedist, to confirm the medical necessity of a spa treatment in accordance with statutory health insurance regulations (§ 23 para. 2 SGB V).
2. Application Submission
Submit your completed spa treatment application to your health insurance provider at least six weeks before your preferred start date.
3. Insurance Review
Your health insurance company will review the application and inform you of the approval decision.
4. Approval and Booking
Once approved, you will receive a certificate of cost coverage for the spa treatment. This document is required when booking your rehabilitation stay, either through Dr. Setzer’s medical practice or the Venus Health Center at Parkhotel Bad Griesbach.
